SHIFT - CRCNZ National Conference

from Annesbrook Church in Nelson

Brent and Viv are the Senior Leaders of Annesbrook Church in Nelson. Leading their home church, Brent and Viv have embraced many changes and challenges over the years and helped lead many of those changes during their senior ministry. They recently celebrated 20 years of being the Senior Leaders of Annesbrook.

Brent and Viv are passionate about seeing the Church rise up and transform cities with the truth and love of Jesus Christ. It is their constant desire as they lead the church, that people will be drawn to the house and will find themselves “breathless” as they encounter the presence and goodness of God.

Brent is also the President of Christian Churches New Zealand (formerly Associated Churches of Christ) and through this has a significant role working with pastors and leaders from a range of churches both within the CCNZ Movement and other significant churches in New Zealand and internationally. Brent is able to inspire and motivate a National movement through the leadership of the churches and is passionate about church planting and continues to believe this needs to be a strong emphasis for the future.

Brent and Viv have been married for 30 years and have a son, a daughter-in-law and a 3 month old granddaughter who are living and serving at Annesbrook and a daughter who is currently living in America working as an Au Pair.
